Peaceful and Meditative Sep 02, 2009 I absolutely love these chimes. I was debating between the small gong and these, but I wanted a more traditional wind chime, so I went with the Tibetan ones. The sound reminds me of the strike of a Tibetan singing bowl. In fact, it is almost the same sound of my singing bowl. To me, they are very loud when you ring them yourself. I have yet to hang them by a window to hear them played by the wind, so I'm sure it will sound softer. I'm quite happy I purchased it and feel they are the most relaxing sound from a chime that I've heard. I highly recommend the Tibetan chimes from this company.

wonderful sound Jul 20, 2008 I had the Woodstock "Earth" chimes for about 8 years, and loved them, however, my husband was not a big fan...he felt they were too noisy on windy days. The string on them broke this year, and even though Woodstock was kind enough to send me string to restring it, it proved to be more than I wanted to do. I ended up ordering the Tibetan chimes, and love them. They are smaller than my Earth chimes, but their tone is beautiful, and even on the windiest days they are not intrusive. I love them!

My favorite wind chime! Jun 27, 2008 This chime is beautiful, and the sound is calm and soothing. It is about 24 inches long and 8 inches across. It is hanging outside my fire escape, and I love it in the summer when taking an afternoon nap. It is so relaxing. My neighbors have all enjoyed it too! I have purchased 2 as gifts.
