The Kokopelli curtain arrived today and I eagerly hung it in its appointed location; in front of a doorway size mirror. Our parrot was/is flying into the mirror and eventually, continuing to do so can have dire consequences; hence the need for the Kokopelli curtain. FWIW, the actual measurements of the version sent was 35 1/2" x 71" as opposed to the stated 36" x 72".
Since the posted example is shown with overhead, hanging art style lighting and is against a blue background, one can easily get the impressing Kokopelli has a blue cast; he doesn't. The beaded bamboo curtain has a typical straw/bamboo coloration and dyed black bamboo pieces form Kokopelli's image. As stated by another, Kokopelli doesn't show up very well when standing up close while square on the image but from a few feet on either side or square on at fifteen or so feet away, you can easily see the soft image much more clearly. The more familiar one becomes with the image, the easier it becomes to visualize Kokopelli stirring things up with his flute.
Overall, I deducted a half star because it wasn't exact the stated size (YMMV), and a half star was deducted because the image is much softer than the posted sample image. Time will tell if Kokopelli has enough presence to prevent our parrot from running into the mirror.
Overall, if you're into Kokopelli, you'll grow to like this doorway curtain as either a wall/doorway separator or a wall decoration.

By JHB The beaded curtain is exactly as described. The bead strands are 1" apart hanging from a black painted header bar. To get the visual effect though, you must stand back 5 or 6 feet or stand to the side. The image of Kokopelli is particularly stricking when viewed from about a 45 degree angle to either side. I've had it up for a week and gotten several comments about how good it looks.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it does not come with mounting hooks or screws. There are 2 eyes in ther header bar, but you have to supply whatever your going to hang it from.

By Matthew J. Molina Jr. This item could-have-been a fine piece of functional art. But ,,, whoever was the decision maker ,,, blew-it. -- Why skimp on the number of strands ,,, and make the product "half-ass".
In my view this product is in no way a "curtain" ,,, and as a faux curtain ,,, it displays no work-of-art (kokopelli dancer) ,,, because you can't see the dang thing!!!
If the manufacturere would have DOUBLED the number of strands ,,, and yes add a few bucks to the price ,,, this item would have been a show-stopper. But ,,, as it is ,,, I had to hang it on a (white) wall just to "see" the Kokopelli Dancer.
